The project involved creating a data model and reporting on the costs of Power BI/Fabric platform resources used by individual teams, so that they could contribute towards the platform’s costs. In addition, a separate tool was provided to monitor the actual total costs of the Microsoft Fabric platform.

As a data engineer, I was responsible for the solution design and the final implementation of the solution, creating ETL processes and co-developing the data model.

A centralized data model and report on Power BI tenant inventory. The tool consolidates data on all artefacts and workspaces in Power BI, their users and general information on resource consumption. It highlights trends in the creation of objects, their consumption and adoption by users.

As a data engineer, I was responsible for migrating the existing solution to Microsoft Fabric, refactoring the code and making it more robust. I developed data pipelines and data extraction and transformation processes within a medallion architecture and in Lakehouse and Warehouse environments.

The project involved implementing a recommendation algorithm for order splitting (knapsack problem) to optimally divide the order based on product parameters and available transport fleet. The algorithm is used on the wholesale platform of a leading FMCG company worldwide.

The benefits of the project are:

• Automatic recommendations for freight forwarders that replaced their manual work
• Optimized transportation resources, reducing shipping costs

Development of a template application that streamlines customer service and evaluates service delivery. Based on the conversation, it can suggest notes, summary messages or a list of actions to be taken, as well as assess the conversation for compliance with guidelines.

In my role as a developer, I worked on the core functionality for creating functional modules based on the transcript provided.

The product was a data warehouse built in a medallion architecture, designed to enable efficient processing of sales data from sources with limited availability while maintaining high scalability.

A data warehouse for the company’s SAF-T Tax reporting. Worked as Data QA, responsible for validating data in the model, ETL processes, and automated validation rules within daily processing.
